Figure standing on warm sandstone boulders beneath a deep blue storm sky in Joshua Tree — elemental fine art portrait

You've never seen yourself like this

Like art. Art that couldn't be made with anyone but you.

There's always a reason to wait. Wait for what? It's already you. You don't have to become someone else. You just have to show up.

"What I really loved was how collaborative it felt. He welcomed my ideas and made me feel like I was part of creating the art, not just the subject of it. By the end, I felt proud of what we created together and honestly more confident than when I walked in."

I'm Kabir. I make pictures with people, for them — pictures that exist nowhere else, because the person in them exists nowhere else.

I grew up shooting — first mountaineering and diving expeditions, then commercial work for Visa, McKinsey, Cal Fire and others. For years I was also a firefighter, until an injury on the job ended that. I came back to photography — not as a consolation, but to the part of me that was always there. I built this studio for the people who want more than a photoshoot — who want to be seen, however they choose to show up.

"Every time we shoot, he shows up with his signature combination of professionalism, creativity, resourcefulness and whimsy. I never feel like he's imposing his preferences on me; it's always a collaboration."

How It Goes
  1. Consultation

It starts with a call — just you and me, figuring out if we're a match. If this is speaking to you, or even just pulling at you a little, that's enough to reach out.

You tell me what kind of images speak to you, what feeling you're after, what brought you here. It's fine not to know yet — most people don't. We find the starting point together. A when, a where, and a what.

A $350 deposit holds your date when you're ready. Location costs are separate.

    The call is free →
  2. The Session

This is where we actually meet and make something together. We start where we decided, then follow where it goes — most of the time we come in with one idea and leave with something completely different. It's about your energy, the light, the season, the moment.

You're in charge of what you show. Clothed, implied, or nude — that's your call. I guide the how: how to move, where to look, so you're never stranded. The rest is just finding the pictures that couldn't be made with anyone but you.

  3. The Reveal

This part is almost as much fun as the shoot. Maybe more.

We sit together — sometimes right after, sometimes a few days later — and go through everything we made. This is the moment: you see the images for the first time and they're nothing like you expected. Better — differently beautiful.

Then comes the fun part: you get to choose what you want to keep. (Fair warning, it's not easy!) Your album is built around the images you love — not a preset, not a template. A custom album with matching digital files. Three sizes, starting at $1,200.

Figure on a mountain ridge in thick fog, arms outstretched holding sheer fabric — mythic elemental

Skydiving isn't for everyone. But everyone knows it's probably incredible.

These shoots are like that.

Here's the thing — the only one who can convince you is you. I can show you the photos. I can show you what other women say. But in the end, it's up to you.

If you've already decided — good. And if you think you're not ready… well. You're still reading.

Be blown away by the art that only you can be.

"Kabir has the gift of disarming and creating a safe space to explore and get creative. I've returned for many sessions — each one celebrating a different cycle of life in wildly unique ways. Every time: pure joy, pure play, and images you'll want to return to again and again."
